Former ANTHRAX Guitarist PAUL CROOK Comments On Closing Of QUEEN Musical

November 3, 2005

Guitarist Paul Crook (ex-ANTHRAX, SEBASTIAN BACH) has posted the following message on his official web site:

"I'm sorry to report that [the QUEEN musical] 'We Will Rock You' Las Vegas is having its final performance on November 27th, 2005.

"What an incredibly rewarding experience for me. My playing has improved so much since the start of this show (roughly 500 performances). The fact that [QUEEN guitarist] Brian May (my boss/hero) is the person that trained me on all of the material definitely has its advantages!

"Onward and upward... I'm currently talking with Dr. Brain May regarding relocation. There are two new productions opening: South Africa and Switzerland plus talks of a North American tour. Either way you'll still hear me ripping out those awesome QUEEN riffs very soon!!!"
